While I appreciate your perspective, I think you missed a few major differences between the Sonitrol system and traditional burglar alarms.
1. Sonitrol operators verify alarms and have lower false alarm rates than ADT.
2. Police have arrested more than 160,000 suspects due to a Sonitrol dispatch.

why does law enforcement make it so easy if the fines are stiff with jail time they might not want to think twice about the crime? or why not install cameras with someone watching them real time?

This is Protect America.
I did not no i would have to leave to Germay for 3 yrs, and i cant take the system, so now i have to pay for something i cant even use. thats also said thay can not fresh it till i get back. I was told the military does not get help that way with this company. That are not tell the soldiers like myself that if you have to leave the US you still have to pay us. i want you to see that runnin around they are giving me. one guy said that pay the balance and you are good its cancel now that are talking bout wait you need to pay more. I hope this will not fall on deaf ears. beacuse we have a job to do in the ARMY and now i cant get help on the home front. this is bad
